Obituary of Roger E. Thomas

ROGER E. THOMAS Watervliet- Roger E. Thomas, 67 of Watervliet, beloved husband of Ann M. Esposito Thomas, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Elliot A. and Helena (Rivard) Thomas. Roger married his beloved Ann M. Esposito on September 23, 1972 in Watervliet and the two have shared a blessed union for 39 years. Roger attended Troy High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. He was employed as a mechanic at Don's Garage in Cohoes for over 15 years until retiring in 2007. Survivors in addition to his wife include his loving children Christopher E. (Kelly) Thomas of Watervliet, David R. (Jennifer) Thomas of Slingerlands, Steven F. (Rebecca) Thomas of Clifton Park, he was the brother of Donna Moore of Clifton Park, Thomas A. Thomas of Ballston Spa and Cynthia Wall of Saratoga, cherished grandfather of Joshua Thomas, Alexander Thomas, Aidan Thomas, Nathan Thomas and Katelyn Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
