What can I say about my big brother David is that he will be missed by all who knew him. You lived your life to the fullest. I'll remember the great pictures that you took, the music that you played, the stories of your adventures that took with Doreen and your family, the kind and gentle heart that you had. Because of the memories of you that will keep us going through our lives each day. Thanks for being my big brother and everytime I have pizza at Cranky Pat's, or hear a song from John Denver or see a picture of Doreen, Jessie, Kenny, Xavier and Rose or the pictures that had you in it I'll be thinking of you. We will take care of Doreen, Jessie and her family in any way that we can. Say hi to Daddy and tell him that we miss him and we are doing ok. Goodbye my brother David.

My dearest brother, David. You will be forever missed but your legacy and how you lived your life will remain with me always. The letter of advice you wrote me in May of 1977 when I was graduating from college is exactly the way you ended up living your life. How were you so wise at such a young age? You and your cheese pizza...Cranky Pat's in Neenah being your favorite. I am so glad I got to share pizza with you and Doreen last September when we were all home for the big Kimberly Parade!! You accomplished much and traveled so many places with your family and what a beautiful set of memories you guys created together. You were a good person and left a great example to Jessie and to others how to live a good life. Although we didn't see each other too often with you in New York and me in Colorado whenever we did get together we picked up the conversation with ease and as if we had spoken yesterday. Your musical talent was so amazing as was your desire to learn new things. I envision you in heaven with a cheese pizza in your hands and a guitar and a fiddle strapped around your neck as you find your place to make music more beautiful than any of us can imagine here on earth. I can't hear a John Denver song without thinking of you and I will always be grateful for the recorded music I do have of yours. Might just have to go out and learn to do some thing new in your memory, Dave. Your laughter,your sense of humor, living in the present and your laid back approach to life is something I do intend to work on. You always had a beautiful smile on your face and that is how I will remember you. Doreen was lucky to have had you to share a life with and we were all lucky to have had you for the time we did. Thanks for being my big brother, tell Ken and Daddy that we are doing ok. David, your life will continue to guide ours and we will do our best to help Doreen and Jessie and her family. My love always.

Thank you so much to everyone who leaves their thoughts here. My dad was one of a kind. He always found a reason to smile in life even through the tough times. He was kind and thoughtful and knew the right words to say even when others would have stumbled. He was a wonderful singer and musician and my best memories are of him singing to me as a child in our home, at special occasions at our church and at most of our close family's weddings. He will be greatly missed by many people. My mother and I give our thanks to all for your cards, prayers and well-wishes through this difficult time.

I worked with Dave at Mohawk Fine Papers, I unfortunately only had the pleasure of knowing him for about a year and a half, but in that short time I immediatly knew that he was a wonderful person. He had a great sense of humor and made me laugh every day. He was one of a kind and will be missed by everyone who had the honor of meeting him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Rest in Peace Dave.
