JEANNE FEDERICI-MILLER
Latham - Jeanne Federici-Miller, 84 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Albany Medical Center.
Born in Cohoes on February 22, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Omer and Marie (Carlton) Theroux. Jeanne also knew the love of Martin Mackiewicz who raised her with love as a young child.
She was married to Arthur Federici whom she shared 24 years with prior to his passing in 1971. She then was joined in marriage with Roy C. Miller whom she then shared 26 years prior to his passing in 2000.
Jeanne was a loving and dedicated homemaker, she was also involved with many things at the original St. Ambrose Church as well as the Latham Little League & the Colonie Ladies Republican Club. She was also instrumental in starting the Colonie Pop Warner. For many years Jeanne enjoyed spending many winters in Sarasota Florida and also numerous summers in Popham Beach, Maine. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
She is survived by her loving sons: Martin "Marty" (Maryellen) Federici of Latham & Arthur "Bob" (Linda) Federici of Newtonville; 6 cherished grandchildren: Robert, Christina, Nicole, Jenny, Carrie & Tony and 5 great grandchildren: Dominick, Antonio, Vincenzio, Francesca & Liam as well as several nieces & nephews.
She is predeceased by her brother: Omer "Sonney" Theroux & her sister: Blanche Welch.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Sunday January 29, 2012 from 2-5 PM at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday January 30 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham. Fr. Geoffrey Burke will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the OLA Building Fund, 498 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Latham.
Interment will take place in Memory Garden's, Colonie.
