Jeff gave me an appreciation of the environment and the importance of saving it....and that was at least 20 years ago. Walking through the national park near our house, I think of Jeff and others with his passion that keep our planet more alive than it would be otherwise.
Jeff's family roots also are firmly in how I hold his identity. To go back to his childhood house, care for it and grow and love his own family there is truely grounding.
A wonderful person with a universe to care about and a world better because of him.

Sandra, Jon & Amelia,
Words can't express how sad we are that Jeff is no longer in our midst. Memories of the Adirondacks, Cape Cod, sailing on Lake Champlain, Pictionary, visits to your B&B, these will be with us always. Jeff's passion and his sense of humor graced many of our times together. His warm hugs, as he towered from above, were always welcoming and from the heart. We feel blessed to have known him as our friend.
Wishing all of you peace.

Jeff was such a kind and patient person. I will miss Jeff, both in his earlier and more recent incarnations. I feel very sad about Sandy and the kids. They struggled together for so long, I'm sure with a lot of strong emotions, cautious hopes, and dreadful fears. Now that they have lost so much, they really know what it means to have each other.

Your family is in my prayers. I never knew Jeff very well, but remember him looking so healthy over 10 years ago. Who could miss that handsome, tall, thin, blonde haired, blue eyed guy in Coastal? Passing him in the hall or seeing him in the elevator I always said hi and gave him a smile. I always told him I was glad to see he was fighting because time with his family is worth it. Ocassionally I would see him eating in the lunchroom knowing that he was forcing himself to eat to maintain his weight in the good fight. I am deeply saddened by our loss and I too feel honored to have known him, however remotely. I pray that his battle inspires others with cancer to fight the good fight against all odds.

Jeff was a great friend. I will cherish the hikes we shared.
We affectionately called Jeff 'twinkle toes' as he always managed to glide over and around all the mud on the trail. We'd end the hike covered in mud from the knees down. Jeff would barely have any mud on his boots.
Jeff was kind, observant, and a good listener. I am a better person from having Jeff in my life.

He faced immense challenges in battling this terrible disease, and you faced those challenges right along with him. We have been inspired by his bravery and we will continue to be guided by his spirit to eventually overcome this cancer once and for all. Our love, prayers and thoughts are with you. Jim and I met Jeff at NYOH one day as they were both there to receive their chemotherapy. Jeff and Jim were both incredible fighters who passionately sought to live life to the fullest and "beat the odds."
Jim always remembered Jeff's kind and encouraging words and looked for him whenever he was at NYOH.
It is my belief that having left their suffering bodies behind these two guys are in a far better place where we will one day be reunited with them.
Most sincerely,
Connie
