I have known Katie for many years-a lively young girl who turned into a charming young woman and wonderful mother. She had so many special qualities- she was loving, caring, thoughtful and very sincere. Katie always made you feel very special. We have all had many wonderful times together and I thank her and all of the family for these beautiful memories. I thank her especially for our very special lunch and visit on Thursday afternoon. Love and prayers, Carole

Katie and I met in 2008 during Kindergarden Soccer. We enjoyed lots of laughter as we watched Lizzie and my son Devin form their newly found friendship. We shared similar smiles and stories thereafter, at each birthday party and class event. I will really miss sharing stories with you, Katie; but you will forever live in our hearts and prayers.

Peg and David, I have already left our memories note, but, I just wanted to add that if there is anything at all that Hans and or I can do for you and your family, please don't hesitate to call or knock. You know where to find us.
Be it looking after Daisy or feeding the cats or tending to the snow/ice; just let us know. I would be more than glad to send over a hot meal as I am sure no one wants to cook now either. Whatever; I can even do some laundry; whatever you all may need, we will be glad to do to help you all out.

My aunt is to me the greatest person in this world,
one of a kind and one in a million. MY GODMOTHER, MY AUNT, MY FRIEND
She has the biggest heart with the most caring touch,
which she shares with so many of us.
Her soul is made of pure love,
yet she's worth way more than gold.
In my eyes, she will always be,
the most beautiful person to walk the earth.
To me she's the smartest woman I know,
and it truly does show.
There is no one that compares to her,
no one that even comes close.
I appreciate all the advise she has given me,
I take it in with immense gratitude.
The memories I will forever cherish,
for they are priceless.
For all she has done, I will forever be thankful,
and my love for her only grows more with each day that passes.
On a high pedestal is where I hold her,
for I admire her so much more than she''ll ever knows.
Having her apart of my life is the greatest gift of all,
being in her presence is god's blessing to me.
Looking deep inside of her,
I see that strong, wise woman I hope to become.
Giving, helpful, loving, caring, and kind,
is what defines her.
She is not only my favorite Aunt but she is my role model,
and to be like her, would be my only wish. I will always love you aunt katie i miss you already. Madison

David, Nick, Ben, Lizzie B, Peg, Scott and Family; We were both shocked and deeply moved to hear of the sudden passing of Katie.
We have fond memories of her laughter, jokes and wonderful help with our 25th wedding anniversary party.
Katie was, indeed, a deeply devoted mother and wife. Her energy and passion for decorating the house and front yard showed how much she wanted to delight the kids. Clearly there was nothing she would not do for her family!
We are praying for all of you at this most aweful time....surely all of your hearts a broken! Our hearts go out especially to Nick,Ben,Lizzie B., David,Peg and Scott...........the most important person in your life is gone....But God can and will make all things right in the end. Trust in Him.
" The Lord replied, " My dear child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of strife and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
May God Bless and Comfort you all!!!!
