I worked with Joan, your mother, at New York Telephone Co. in Troy. She was a smart, classy lady and a very loyal CWA union member. Back in the 1970s, our co-workers were also our social friends. We attended clam steams at Krause's, Christmas parties at Tironi's and St.Patrick's Day at Ma Foley's. Recently, I would see her at the Hannaford on Wolf Rd. and we'd chat for 45 minutes. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing and extend my heartfelt condolences.
