Obituary of Catherine M. Cherney

CATHERINE M. CHERNEY Watervliet- Catherine M. Cherney, 90 of Watervliet, beloved wife of the late Frederick W. Cherney, died Monday, June 30, 2014 at Rosewood Gardens, in Troy. Born and educated in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Isidore and Cora (Borden) Roy. She was employed by Siena College in Loudonville in the housekeeping department for many years until her retirement. Survivors include her children Ann Cherney of Clifton Park and Barbara Ann West of Watervliet, her granddaughter Rachael Rider and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday July 3, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd, Latham. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will be next to her beloved Fred in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
