Obituary of Lorraine Rossier

Latham- Lorraine Rossier of Latham passed away peacefully on Friday August 1, 2014 at the Eddy Village Green where she was currently a resident. Born in Buffalo on September 12th 1928, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Stephen and Agnes (Wisniewski) Skrobacz. Lorraine had been predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph M. Rossier whom she married on August 25, 1951 and shared 48 cherished years of marriage prior to his passing in August of 1999. Lorraine was a loving Daughter, Wife, Mom, Nana and Friend whom loved her family dearly. She is survived by her loving sons: Joseph M. Jr. and his wife Mary Beth O'Rourke-Rossier of Menands and Mark A. Rossier of New York City. She is also survived by her cherished Grandchildren Rebecca and Mikayla Rossier. Relatives and Friends are invited and may call on Tuesday August 5, 2014 from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm at the conclusion of the visitation at the funeral home with Deacon Jim O'Rourke officiating. Interment will take place in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands at the convenience of the family.
