Obituary of Jean M. Springborn

Maryland- Jean Marie Springborn of Towson, Maryland entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Monday September 22, 2014 at HCR Manor Care, with her family by her side.
Born in Buffalo on March 24th 1926, Jean was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Lieb) Peel.
Jean had been predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Nathan Springborn on July 10th 2005 after sixty years of marriage.
Jean was the organist and the choir director at Our Lady of the Assumption Church for over 40 years. She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society and a volunteer for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. In 2009, Jean retired to Towson Maryland, to live with her family.
She is survived by her loving children; James (Colleen) Springborn of Mechanicville, Nancy (Richard) Burke of Towson Maryland and Brian Springborn of Averill Park as well as her daughter in law Laurel Springborn of Loudonville and son in law Carl Weston of West Gardiner Maine. She is also the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her two children, Robert Michael Springborn and Janet Weston, as well as her siblings, Margaret Myers, Joseph Peel and James Peel.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday September 25, 2014 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday September 26 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham. Fr. Geoffrey Burke will officiate.
A Private interment will take place at Memory's Garden, Colonie.
