Latham- Louise Hlne Scerbo, 80, of Latham passed away peacefully on Sunday January 18, 2015 at Evergreen Commons Nursing Home.
Born on September 30th, 1934 in Coaticook, Providence of Quebec, Canada, Louise was the daughter of the late Adelard and Jeanne (Lanciaux) Hugron. Louise had been predeceased by her husband Carmen S. Scerbo.
Louise spent some time employed by Up-To-Date in Troy, as a seamstress. She then became a loving and dedicated homemaker to her family. She was a member of the Rosary Society, Adoration Ministry and Young at Heart Group all at St. Ambrose Church. She had also volunteered time at Our Lady of Hope Church since 1980.
Survivors include her Daughters: Michle Casavant, Lynne Jones, Annette Bell, Patricia Casavant and Rene Casavant, 9 grandchildren and 8 Great grandchildren as well as her siblings Diane Phillips of R.I, Marthe Gagnon of CT, along with Francoise Grenier, Pierre-Andre Hugron, and Marcel Hugron, all of Canada and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her siblings: Jean-Nil Hugron and Suzanne Lafaille.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday January 22, 2015 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday January 22 at 1:30 pm at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Fr. Anthony Barratt officiating
Interment will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet.
