Obituary of Carol DeLisle

Carol DeLisle Loudonville- Carol DeLisle, 72 of Loudonville, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2015 at St. Peter's Hospital, in Albany. Born in Albany on March 6, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Warren W. and Marjorie (Cole) Sheffer. Carol was married to James R. DeLisle on June 1, 1963 and the two have shared a devoted and blessed union of almost 52 years together. Carol was a Supervisor in the Fines Department at the Library Dept. of S.U.N.Y Albany for 25 years, retiring in 2003. Prior to that, she was employed for 10 years at L.A. Swire Building Contractors. She loved to travel to Florida and especially to Disney. She also loved summertime and loved to go to the beach. Carol's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and she had a love of dogs. In addition to her beloved husband: James, she is survived by her loving children: Michelle (Lance) Law of Ballston Lake and Amy Estep of Latham and her cherished grandchildren: Jonathan, Christopher, Lily and Laurel as well as her Sister Diane Lombardo of Troy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including: Drew, Jill and Emily She is predeceased by her Brothers: George and Wayne Sheffer. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 9:30 am-11:30 am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:30 am immediately following the visitation at the funeral home with Pastor John Phillippe officiating. Interment will take place in Memory Garden's, Colonie.
