Obituary of Patricia W. Bullock

PATRICIA W. BULLOCK Colonie - Patricia W. Bullock, 87 a lifelong resident of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2015 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. Born in Colonie on September 11, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Florence (Burns) Whitney. Pat was raised and grew up on the family farm in the area in the Town of Colonie which is now known as Burns-Whitney. She was employed as a Title Clerk for many years with NYS Department of Motor Vehicle in Albany, retiring in 1990. A woman with a heart of gold and the sweetest demeanor, her family meant the world to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with them and her granddaughters as well as her friends at the Thunder Road Senior Center. She also loved square dancing and was part of the Single Squares Club. Pat is survived by her loving children: Robert S. (Kathleen M.) Bullock and David J. Bullock all of Colonie, her two cherished granddaughters: Karen (Joe Pelletier) and Kathryn Bullock as well as her Sister, Barbara Swartz of South Schodack and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Pat's family wishes to especially thank her special caregivers Kim Abbott and Angel Morrison for their loving dedication, care and concern they gave towards Pat. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 11:00 - 12 noon at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road. Funeral services will be celebrated at noon immediately following the visitation with Pastor George Stefani officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in pat's memory to the American Lung Association, 418 Broadway, 1st Fl., Albany NY 12207 Interment will take place in Memory Garden's, Colonie.
