Obituary of David K. Morey

DAVID K. MOREY Guilderland- David K. Morey, 67 of Guilderland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Albany Medical Center, in Albany. Born in Syracuse on March 14, 1948, he was the son of the Helen (VanVleck) and the late Frank K. Morey. David was married to Kathleen S. Sheridan for 15 wonderful years prior to his passing. At one time David was a Customer Service Representative for many years for the Hobart Company in Troy Ohio, and then for the past 12 years he was a Community Support Specialist for the Wildwood Programs in Schenectady. In addition to his beloved wife: Kathleen of Guilderland and his mother Helen of Florida, he is survived by his loving children: Robert K. Morey of Ohio, John M. Sheridan of Long Island and Michael P. Sheridan of Latham, his 4 cherished grandchildren: Axel, Ava, Liam and Colin as well as his sisters: Margaret Haskin of FL and Ruth Chicaterri of Charlton, NY and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited a memorial gathering on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 4-6 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Memorial services will be celebrated on Friday at 6:00 pm at the funeral home immediately following the gathering.
