Obituary of Filamena Nina Gaudio

FILAMENA NINA GAUDIO Latham- Filamena Nina Gaudio, 89 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 19, 2007, after a long illness at the Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Hudson, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Petronilla (Battaglino) Tanzillo. She was employed at one time as a Buyer for the Boston Store in Latham and was a Manager, for the Ursula Of Switzerland Boutique in Albany. Filamena is survived by her loving daughter Rosalind Gaudio of Latham and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her former husband Frank Gaudio and her 2 brothers: John and Frank Tanzillo. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses & staff at Albany Memorial Hospital and the Julie Blair Rehabilitation Center for the kindness and compassionate care they gave to Filamena during her illness. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday August 22 at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham, where Filamenas Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday August 22 from 10-11 am at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham.
