Obituary of Helen Ann Fink

HELEN ANN FINK Latham- Helen Ann Fink, 84 a longtime resident of Latham, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Community Hospice Inn At St. Peter's, in Albany, with her family by her side. Born in Albany on October 1, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Clarence R. and Julia Loretta (Carroll) Donahue. Helen was joined in marriage to Barton Fink on February 12, 1949; the two have shared a blessed union of love and devotion for over 58 years prior to her passing. She was a 1941 graduate of Vincentian Institute and the Mildred Elley Business School. Helen was employed as Senior Account Clerk for the NYS Sales Tax Dept. in Albany, retiring in 1985. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham. Survivors in addition to her beloved husband Bart, include her children: Carol Brzozowski and Brian (Cecilia) Fink both of Long Island and Paul (Theresa) Fink of Latham, her cherished grandchildren Nathan Brzozowski, Samantha Brzozowski, & Kevin Fink; her Sister: Audrey (Robert) Deso of Westmere and her brother: C. Richard (Therese) Donahue of North Salem, NY and several nieces and nephews. Helen is predeceased by her Brother, Thomas Donahue Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 15 at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham where Helens Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Geoffrey Burke. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham on Friday from 4-7 P.M.
