Obituary of Donald J. Morrow

DONALD J. MORROW Wappingers Falls NY- Donald J. Morrow, 83 of Wappingers Falls and formerly of Francis Dr. in Colonie, beloved husband of the late Loretta M. Morrow, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital, in Newburgh. Born in Patterson NJ on July 31, 1924, he was the son of the late Gerald and Marie (Cronin) Morrow. He served his country during World War II in the US Army from 1943 to 1946. Donald was a graduate of Yale University and Seaton Hall where he received his Bachelors Degree. He also enjoyed the game of golf and was a former member of the Wolferts Roost Country Club. Don was a Mail Clerk, employed by US Postal Service in Albany a position he retired from after over 20 years of service. Survivors include his stepchildren; Ellen (James) L. Farina of Wappingers Falls, NY; & Lionel "Lee" Bliss of Jefferson City, TN; 7 Cherished Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, his sister Marie Klemm of Fla., and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his Stepson, Joel Bliss and his Brother Gerald Morrow. Funeral Services for Don will be held on Saturday December 29 at 10:00 am at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road Latham. Fr. Tony Childs will officiate Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham on Friday from 6-8 pm.
