LARRY A. CURRAN
BOLTON LANDING- Larry A. Curran, 74 of Bolton Landing, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Buffalo.
Born in Amsterdam, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Elsie (Young) Curran. He was a graduate of Wilbur Lynch High School in Amsterdam and the Albany Business College. Larry served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Navy.
He was the owner & operator of Curran Interiors Inc. in Amsterdam for over 20 years and retired in 1995. Larry was a member of the Glens Falls Elks Lodge #81 and the Guan Ho Ha Rod & Gun Club in Scotia. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Bolton Landing and St. Edward the Confessor in Clifton Park.
Survivors include his children David Curran of Tannersville and Teresa Labarre of Baltimore, MD, his fiancee and longtime companion Gloria McCasland, 3 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his former spouse Nancy Curran. Larry was predeceased by his daughter Laura Hagen, sister Elaine DeFina ad brother Joseph A. Curran Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday June 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Edward the Confessor 565 Clifton Park Center Road Clifton Park,
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Dufresne and Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Road Latham on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
Interment with full military honors will be in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
