ALBERT F. FORGETT
Latham- Albert F. Forgett, 87 of Latham, beloved husband of the late Audrey J. Nichols Forgett, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Community Hospice in Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Born and educated in Albany September 30, 1927, he was the son of the late Valmor and Emma Forgett. He proudly served during World War II in the United States Army.
Al was a Warehouse Supervisor with J. Treffiletti & Sons in Albany for over 25 years, retiring in 1990.
He was an avid New York Yankee fan and enjoyed trips with Audrey to Atlantic City and the Saratoga Rack Track as well as the Racino.
Al is survived by his loving daughters: Jean Mullen, Linda (Percy) Peterson and Valerie (Andy) Smith all of Colonie as well as his cherished grandchildren: Wendy (Duane) Adams, Cristy (Mike) Viscusi and Christopher Smith, his adored great grandchildren Samantha and Sarah McFee, Ariana and Sabrina Viscusi, all his Great Granddogs and several nieces & nephews.
He is predeceased by his siblings: Elizabeth Stein, Laura Sellnow and Joseph Forgett.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday, August 10, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Funeral services will be celebrated at 8:00 pm Monday immediately following the visitation at the funeral home with Fr. Anthony Barratt officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, 195 Valley View Road, Rensselaer, NY 12144
