Obituary of Joan W. Hardie

JOAN W. HARDIE Latham -Joan W. Hardie, 92 of Latham, beloved wife of the late William M. Hardie Jr., entered into eternal life on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Teresian House in Albany. Born in Little Falls, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Ward. She was a member of the Lishakill Senior Citizens. Joan enjoyed her time spent with her family at Lake Piseco in the Adirondacks. Survivors include her loving son John V. Hardie of Latham, her daughter-in-law, Diane Hardie of Ohio, She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her son, William Earl Hardie, her brother Robert Ward and sister Ruth Schuetvle. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Geoffrey Burke officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, August 24, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. til 11:00 a.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
