Obituary of Florence H. Suter

FLORENCE H. SUTER Latham- Florence H. Suter, 91 of Latham, beloved wife of Frederick F. Suter, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Eddy Village Green in Cohoes. Born in Ellenville, NY on August 19, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Increase and Effie (Sheldon) Green. Flo was married to Frederick F. Suter and the two shared a blessed union of 66 years prior to her passing. Flo was an Office Manager with Tate & DiSanto CPA in Colonie for over 25 years, following that position she worked at Morgan Linen in Menands for 10 years as the President's Assistant. Flo was the 1st female officer of the Albany Little League and her husband Fred was the 1st winning coach of the same league. Flo was the most loving caring wife and special mother. All who knew her were blessed to have her in their lives. In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her loving daughters: Deborah (William) Schiller Deuel of Watervliet and Linda (Jerry) Dawson of Cohoes; her 3 adored grandchildren Jerry Dawson III, Stephanie Dawson and Jason Deuel, 4 cherished great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers: Walter and Roland Green and her twin sister Doris George. A special thank you goes to all her adopted daughters of House 24 at the Eddy Village Green who cherished and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday May 12, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm at the funeral home immediately following the visitation with Associate Pastor John Phillippe officiating.
