Obituary of Steven C. Klee

STEVEN C. KLEE Latham- Steven C. Klee, 47 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Rosewood Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in East Greenbush. Born in Niskayuna on November 18, 1968, he was the son of the late Walter F. and Joanne T. (Murray) Klee. He was a 1988 graduate of Shaker High School. Steven was a Mail Clerk with the Center for Disability Services in Albany, retiring in 2015 after 22 years of dedicated service. He was a former member of Warriors on Wheels and the Knights of Columbus. Steven was an avid New York Yankee fan and loved to watch NASCAR. He is survived by his loving siblings: Karen Coffey of Latham, Karyl (Mike) Clementi of Nassau, Kathe (Thomas Sanders) Swanson of Sterling Illinois, David (Lori) Klee of Watervliet and Richard Klee of Albany, as well as 7 nieces and nephews, especially acknowledging his nephew Dennis Coffey; raised more like brothers, Steven and Dennis had a unique bond that grew stronger through the years and especially after Steven's paralysis. Their relationship was the definition of brotherhood, commitment and loyalty. He is also survived by 11 Great Nieces & Nephews. Steven is predeceased by his loving canine companion, Sammy. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday May 15, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 16 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating.
