Obituary of John E. Timberlin

JOHN E. TIMBERLIN Watervliet-John E. "Big John" Timberlin,71 of Watervliet, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Albany Medical Center after a short illness. Born in Troy on April 9, 1945, he was the son of the late Archie and Elwarda (Pratt) Timberlin. He was a graduate of Shaker High School class of 1963. He worked as a Truck Driver most of his life and was a member of Teamsters Local 294, Albany. Survivors include his children Valtina (Dennis) Cuccurullo and Fredrick (Marie) Timberlin his grandchildren Travis (Mindy) Lane, Samantha Cuccurullo, Emily Timberlin and Jacob Timberlin, his extended family Marcia (Frenchy) Louprette, Lisa (Bill) M. Arsenault Ed (Christine) Fink, grandchildren Mark Louprette, Ciara, Katelyn and Jacqueline Arsenault, Hailey, Ethan, and Kayla Fink, his brothers James Timberlin and Allen (Joella) Timberlin, his sister Carolyn (Paul) Moore and he is also survived by several nieces and nephews and former spouse Linda Gorman. John is predeceased by his longtime companion Winifred Fink and brother Albert Timberlin. Memorial services will be held Wednesday August 10, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday August 9, 2016 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be with his beloved Winnie in Memory Garden's, Colonie.
