Thomas is the father of my youngest grandson, Garrett. My last memory of Tom with his beautiful boy was just on Halloween. Although Garrett didn't feel well, he still wanted to wear his Ninja Turtle costume. As they stood in my kitchen, Garrett went to Tom with his arms up, crying "daddy, daddy." Tom bent down and picked up his son and told him it was okay. And, Garrett snuggled up into his daddy's neck and his daddy kissed him on his forehead. I am so glad I have the memory and I will share it with my grandson forever.

How do you send condolences for such a beautiful, kind, helping soul? We will remember all of the time together and all the things that he helped us with. Thomas would do anything to help anyone. One of the last times I saw him, he fixed my brakes on a Saturday morning when he could be spending a nice quiet day off with his handsome little boy. We saw each other again out a bar and he was such a gentleman with his loving girlfriend. I know the loss of losing a brother, Sammy lost her Uncle (father figure), way too early. I cannot even think about losing one of my children. He will be there in your hearts to help you all through this extremely sad time! God and all the angels are surrounding you now, just breathe and feel their presence to help you know he's here in each of you. Please know how sorry we are for this horrible loss and how grateful we are that Thomas will be bringing new life to others with his final, blessed gift. Sammy and I love you all and will be here for any of you whenever you need.
