Obituary of Alfred Anthony Muller

ALFRED A. MULLER North Greenbush- Alfred Anthony Muller, 70 of North Greenbush formerly of Latham, beloved husband of Noella J. Morey Muller entered into eternal life Monday, November 28, 2016 in North Greenbush. Born in Brooklyn on August 18, 1946, he was the son of the late Alfred and Alice (Cassidy) Muller. Mr. Muller married His beloved Noella Morey on October 18, 1969, and the two have shared a beautiful marriage of 47 years. Al worked for New York Telephone before joining the Army. He served during Vietnam War in the Army from Jan. 28, 1966 to Sept. 3, 1969 and was the recipient of two bronze stars. Al was discharged from the Army as a #E-6. After the Army he was employed by Honeywell Corp as a computer technician and retired from Verizon in 2008. He lived in Bay Ridge Brooklyn as a young man and was a graduate of Power Memorial High School in Manhattan. He later resided in Derby and Shelton CT. He and his family resided on Marco Polo Drive in Latham for over 37 years. Survivors in addition to his wife include his loving children Patrick (Michelle) Muller of Green Island, Kristine (Michael) Kennedy of Philadelphia, PA and Michael Muller of North Greenbush, his cherished grandchildren Emily Muller and Alex Kennedy. He was the brother of Eugene (Michelle) Muller of MA, John Muller of CT, Bill Muller of VA and Vincent Muller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his Brothers Daniel, Joseph, and Frank and his grandson Nicholas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday December 2, 2016 at 10:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. John Cairns officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday December 1 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment with full military honors will be in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. The family is requesting no flowers please.
