DANIEL JAMES LANSING
Loudonville- Daniel James Lansing, 54 of Loudonville, beloved husband of Elena "Lanie" Lansing, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Albany Medical Center.
Born in Albany on February 12, 1962, he was the son of Shirley (Bushey) Lansing Alcombright and the late DeWitt Lansing. Dan was married to the former Elena "Lanie" Triolo on May 7, 1994. The two shared a union of love and devotion for 28 years prior to his passing.
Dan was employed with B.B.L. in Albany as a Superintendent, Carpenter and a Master Builder. He was also the co-owner and operator of Lanie's Café in Loudonville alongside his wife Lanie. He was a member of the West Albany Rod & Gun Club, where he enjoyed trap shooting. Dan was an avid fan of all music types and trips to Turning Stone and Mohegan Sun to play blackjack. He was also an avid New York Yankee fan. Most important of all, Dan was a true family man; he was a loving and dedicated husband and father who loved his family and his dogs, Lola, Buddy and Max. He was the biggest fan of both his children.
