Obituary of Frances Anne Foley

FRANCES ANNE FOLEY Latham- Frances Anne Foley of Latham, beloved wife of the late John J. Foley, passed away peacefully on Friday March 17, 2017 at the Teresian House where she was currently a resident. Born March 18, 1920 in New York City, Frances was the daughter of the late Thomas and Viola (Stenersen) Salzano. Frances married John J. Foley on January 20, 1951, cherishing 51 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2002. Frances was Vice President for Havendale Realty in Long Island. She was then employed by N.Y.S Dept. of Mental Hygiene, where she worked for 15 years before retiring in 1984. Frances at one time also worked privately as a medical assistant for several years. She was a former member of the Secular Franciscan order. She is survived by her loving children: Laureen Anne Faulkner of Latham and John J. Foley III of Accord, NY and 3 cherished granddaughters: Liana Patrice, Therase Francine and Kathleen Anne Faulkner. Frances is predeceased by her siblings: Sophie Bernick, Josephine Fichtner, Violette Salvano and her Niece: Roberta Frances Coletti. Frances Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday March 22, 2017 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet Shaker Road, Latham, with Fr. Geoffrey Burke officiating.
