It was certainly a priveledge over the past few years to know Mr. Babbitt and spend time visiting with him at the VA. I especially remember his joy last summer with the giant pumpkin garden. He spoke often of his family, of which he was very proud and of his real estate career. I will miss him greatly. Barbara Darling

I am one of the Protestant Chaplains at the Stratton VA Hospital and have had the wonderful privilege of visiting Roland and getting to know him over the years. He was a gracious, friendly man. He always asked me for a blessing or prayer. I told him:" I never leave a patient without one". And he smiled. I will remember him often. I raise my prayers of thanks for Roland's life and all those he touched. And I offer my prayers to his family for strength and guidance today and the days ahead.
