Janie and family, Charlie was such a big part of my life. He taught me how to crawl by pulling his watch across the floor. When I got a bit older I would introduce him as "my good friend Uncle Charlie". I am so glad we got out skiing and golfing with both of you recently. I have great memories thanks to Charlie. Charlie has always been part of the Adirondacks for me. I could not imagine him in Latham because my heart knew he belonged next door at his camp. He is like an Adirondack front porch-cofortable, functional, persevering and always there.

This is for Janie Gill: Many memories from the past when I saw the obit in the Pall. I often wondered where you and "Charlie" (didn't he go by that?) wound up. You and my Janie were great pals - I suppose you know that I lost her:Feb 3,05. I recall one time when HL & I were singing "Once in love with Janie" (Amy in the Lyrics).
