The first 12 years of my life were spent living right behind Ted and his family. I remember our great friendship and the way in which he was sometimes like a big brother to me, even though we were the same age. He protected me when I needed it and I admired him for that, and for much more. I remember Ted as a good son, as well - probably the best kid in our neighborhood. Not everyone got along back then, but everyone truly liked Ted. I am deeply sorry to read of his passing.
