Obituary of Thilo H. "Ted" Bell

THILO H. BELL

COHOES - Thilo H. "Ted" Bell, 60 of Cohoes, passed away April 5th, 2024. He was the son of the late Henry A. and Thila A. (Schulze) Bell.

Ted was born on July 8th, 1963 in Albany. He graduated Shaker High School Class of 1981. He was a proud member of the 1978 Section II Champion Boys Gymnastics Team. He went on to earn an associates degree in Computer Science from Bryant and Stratton College. Ted loved the outdoors and being by the water. He especially loved cliff diving. His greatest joy in life however, was his children. His two sons Thilo and Brock were his pride and joy.

In addition to his two sons, Thilo and Brock Bell, Ted is survived by his siblings Claudia (Frank) Campese and Thomas (Terry) Bell, the mother of his two sons Mary Trombley, as well as his stepdaughter Lacy Marks. Also survived by two nephews Dominic and Joseph Campese, aunts Joy and Marcia, as well as numerous cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Sunday, April 14th, 2024 beginning at 1:00 pm at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham with Reverend Nick TeBordo officiating.
