DENISE M. GIORDANO
Latham- Denise M. Giordano, 52 of Latham, passed away suddenly Friday, June 24, 2011.
Born in Cobleskill on March 22, 1959, she was the daughter of Charles E. Chichester & Helen M. (Keyser) Brown and was stepdaughter to Jeanette Chichester & Larry Brown. She attended Schoharie Central School and graduated from Shaker High School in 1978.
Denise worked at the NYS Lottery in the marketing division for 25 years and is Vice President of the CSEA Local Union #661. She enjoyed spending time with her family and working on craftworks to donate to local fund raisers and her pets. She lived life with energy, passion & determination that she easily shared with others. She will be greatly missed.
Denise is survived by her beloved husband: Philip T. Giordano Jr., her loving children: Mark Justin & Brandon Hess both at home and Genevieve Giordano of Cobleskill, 2 cherished grandchildren Jillian & Alyssa Hess, as well as her parents: Charles (Jeanette) Chichester of NC and Helen (Larry) Brown of Latham. She is also leaves 2 sisters: Dierdre (Mark) Fitzgerald of Howes Cave, NY, Dana Chichester of Latham and her brother: Charles (Patrice) Chichester of NC, several nieces, nephews and many aunts uncles & cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Sunday June 26 from 2-5 PM at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday June 27 at 9:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Fr. Arthur Toole will officiate
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Mohawk & Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands NY 12204
Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
