Obituary of Jonathan William Rainville

JONATHAN WILLIAM RAINVILLE Clifton Park- Jonathan William Rainville, 34 of Clifton Park formerly of Latham died suddenly Friday, January 11, 2008. Born in Albany, he was the beloved son of William O. and Carole S. (Mailloux) Rainville of Newtonville. Jonathan was a 1992 graduate of Shaker High School. After school he traveled extensively and was a cook in Australia, Lake Tahoe, Seattle, Marthas Vineyard and Breckenridge Colorado. He then returned to the area and took business management courses and horticultural courses at Adirondack Community College and Culinary courses at Schenectady Community College. He was currently the Retail Manager at Valoze Greenhouse Inc. in Latham, for the last 8 years. Jonathan was an avid snowboarder, loved photography, traveling, music and classic cars. He had a passion for collecting antique bicycles and guitars. Survivors in addition to his parents include his loving sister Dr. Michelle E. Lenahan , and his special brother-in-law Christopher Lenahan of Buffalo, he was the cherished Uncle of Mackenzie, Christopher Jr. and Reilly Lenahan all of Buffalo, he was the grandson of Patricia Bosch of Slingerlands, and is survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. He leaves his devoted companion his dog Elliott. He was predeceased by his grandparents William H. Mailloux Sr. and Armand and Louise Rainville and his cousin Christopher D. Mailloux. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday January 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of The Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham with Rev. Geoffrey Burke, pastor officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd. Latham on Monday from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
