Dear family,
My deepest condolences and sympathy to you all. I am somewhat at a loss for words. Lloyd and I were married for a little over 10 years and in that time a very special friendship developed that continued even though we were apart. His love for me was shown in many ways but the one that I will always remember and cherish is the silly, funny things he did and said to make me laugh. His sense of humor was unique and I am happy for the time we shared together to be a part of that.
He was so excited for me when I started school in 2012 and conveyed so often during our many phone conversations how proud he was of me and my accomplishments. He wanted so much to be at my graduation ceremony in 2 weeks and promised that he would, but I knew his health would prevent that. It still meant so much to me that he felt so strongly about attending. I know that when I walk across that stage, he will be there with me.
Lloyd rest in peace. You touched my life in a way that I will never forget and I will carry all of our memories together with me in my heart until I see you again. God bless you.
