Obituary of Lloyd E. Kinney

LLOYD E. KINNEY Latham- Lloyd E. Kinney, 51 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Ellis Hospital, in Schenectady. Born in Yonkers, NY on October 14, 1964, he was the son of the late Lloyd K. Kinney and Alice (Cavanagh) Kinney of Latham. He served in the United States Navy. Lloyd graduated from Tri-Valley High School in Grahamsville, NY and attended then HVCC and Sullivan County Community College's. He was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham. Lloyd was the Front Desk Operator at the Monte Mario Motel in Latham. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and had a love for music especially the Rolling Stones and Grateful Dead. Survivors in addition to his mother include his two loving sons Joseph C. Kinney of Green Island and Jared M. Kinney of Clifton Park as well as his siblings: Francis (Carol) G. Kinney of Sullivan County, NY and Amy (E.J. Burnash) J. Kinney of Latham and former wives: Kelly Thompson and Robin Rifenburgh. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday September 14, 2016 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Memorial services will be celebrated at 7:00 pm at funeral home immediately following the gathering with Deacon Helmut Neurohr officiating.
